Mission Statement

Novato Paint the Town Red Inc. (PTTRinc.) is a community partnership between School Fuel, Novato’s Downtown Business Association, the City of Novato, Citizens of the Year Committee and the Novato Chamber of Commerce. PTTRinc. and it’s organizing Committee coordinate an annual event on or around the third Saturday in January, commemorating Novato’s Birthday. The event is a celebration of our community, our people and the dynamic spirit of Novato, honoring and announcing this year’s Citizen of the Year. This annual event envelops the past, present and future with Novato businesses, citizens, community leaders and organizations from all sectors of the community. Throughout the month of January, PTTRinc. honors our community with smaller celebrations at city offices, schools and senior centers. The support and contributions of Novato businesses and citizens in the past years has reflected in the continued growth and success of PTTRinc’s community partnerships. Novato Paint the Town Red Inc. is a 501(c)(7) social corporation with all proceeds used for the annual event and other community activities.
